HISTORY OF FIELD EVALUATION
Through 115 years of Canadian history, safeguarding the public against potential hazards has been the byword of the electrical inspection industry. The need for cost-efficient, high-quality services, together with consistent enforcement of the Electrical Safety Code, led to the '90's introduction of a competitive system. Evolved from Ontario Hydro Inspection Division, ESA is a not for profit corporation, with extensive technical expertise, backed by close to a century of experience in developing and introducing electrical equipment standards.


TECHNICAL UPDATES
The Field Inspectors share many years of practical experience, embracing broad business needs. Serving all markets, they find innovative solutions, maintain productivity, and adhere to the most recent code and standards interpretations. These include The National Electric, Canadian Electric, Ontario Electric Safety, and CSA standard (SPE 1000) codes.
